WINSFORD Flash Sailing Club hosts an open day for prospective new members this Saturday.
Visitors are invited to try a host of activities on the water, as well as see the full range of boats and facilities the club offers.
“Everybody is welcome, from those who haven’t sailed before through to more experienced sailors perhaps looking for a new club,” said commodore Ian Foulkes.
“An open day like this is provides an ideal first step into the sport.
“We’re lucky to a fantastic group of friendly members and an action-packed programme throughout the year.”
The club’s junior sailors will act as ambassadors for the day, answering visitors’ questions while showing them around.
There will be details too of Winsford’s popular Learn to Sail courses for beginners.
Doors are open between 11am and 4pm.
For further details, or to find out more about the club, e-mail secretary Helen Walsh on winsfordflash@gmail.com.
