RUDHEATH Social have become the first Cheshire League team to reach the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup final for more than a decade.
A 4-1 semi-final success at Capenhurst Villa last night sends the Northwich outfit to the showpiece for the first time.
West Kirby will provide the opposition at Vauxhall Motors FC on Friday, April 10, kick off 7.15pm.
Rudheath's ticket was booked with goals from Scott Taylor, Dean Clarke, Shaun Alcock and Peter Aidley in a superb performance at Runcor's Millbank Linnets Stadium.
They went in front on 23 minutes through Taylor's low drive.
Clarke then doubled the lead with a stunning volley on the half-hour mark.
Alcock added his effort on the hour before Danny Wainwright pulled a goal back with 10 minutes to go.
A superb solo goal from Aidley sealed success for Richie Maddock's men.
