In-form Owley Wood B rise to fourth in the table after recording a fifth straight win, this time at home to Chapels.
Elsewhere Witton Chimes A were another side to recover from 3-2 down, spoiling back-markers Wheatsheaf’s night.
James Hodgkinson won a decisive frame for Moulton Legion as they squeezed past their hosts Greenbank C.
Nectar’s closed a gap to first place to four points in Division Three following a 6-1 win against Blue Barrel.
Leaders Barn Owl E recovered from 2-1 down to beat Witton Chimes B, leaving the top two 13 points better off than third-placed Lion B.
The Moulton outfit have won seven on the spin though after a 6-1 thrashing of Barn Owl A.
Blue Barrel A strengthened their hold on a place in the top four by beating Greenbank D, while Davenham Legion clinched the seventh frame against guests Green Dragon B after the teams had shared the previous six.
Division One leaders Gladstone C return to league action at in-form Owley Wood A tonight, Wednesday.
The Weaverham outfit have climbed to fourth in the standings after losing only one of their past five fixtures.
Champions Rudheath host Gladstone B, while third-placed Castle Private B entertain wooden spoonists The Elms.
