JAMES East delivered a first points-scoring finish for Northwich outfit Opus Energy Brabus Racing at Knockhill on Sunday, then left the team the next day.
He was 12th on board his Kawasaki in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship sprint in Scotland, making up four places on his starting position.
“It was an amicable agreement to part company,” read a statement issued by Brabus on Monday.
The team hope to have a replacement in place before the series resumes at Brands Hatch later this month.
