WITH four drawn games in Premier Division dominoes the only team to benefit were Imperial, whose 5-3 win at the Vine enabled them to reduce leaders Hop Pole A’s advantage to five points.
In Division One, all matches ended in 5-3 victories with all five winners gaining ground on the teams above them.
Both the top two, Delamere and Nantwich Road A, lost 5-3 to respective opponents Broughton and White Lion F/Lane A, with the White Lion now three points adrift of Nantwich Road.
Division Two has new leaders in Brunel A following a 5-3 victory at the Bridge A, with deposed leaders Rising Sun A a point behind after losing 6-2 to Sydney, who move off the bottom.
Oddfellows move into third a further point adrift after a 6-2 victory against Amalgamated B, who drop to bottom spot.
Liberal retake top spot in Division Three by a point with a 6-2 win at the Hawk, who drop to third one point behind deposed leaders Kings B, although they have a game in hand.
In Division Four, White Lion (Copp) take over at the top after a 5-3 win over Nags Head with a one point advantage over deposed leaders Duke of Bridgewater C.
Duke drew with third-placed Willaston Club, a further four points adrift after Willaston let slip a 4-0 lead as the Duke fought back winning the last four games in a hard fought draw.
Division Five leaders Prince of Wales A increased their lead to five points after a 6-2 victory over title rivals Brunel B, who are now only one point ahead of third-placed Rileys B.
Rileys’ 5-3 loss to Hop Pole B lifted the victors off the bottom of the league.
