NORMAL service resumed for Crewe’s amateur boxers on Thursday when 11 local fighters formed the spine of an evening’s entertainment at the Crewe Alexandra Suite.
Nine boxers from Crewe ABC and two from South Cheshire ABC took the ring, with 13 contests, including three female bouts, taking place in total.
Crewe ABC’s Liam Moran, Szymon Kisiel, Jake Locke and Harry Iveson all prevailed in excellent encounters.
Clubs from all over the region brought squads; among whom Crewe paid special mention to Mason Cartwright of Wirral Community and Nick Mooney of Sefton, who each won well-contested matches in fine style.

The skills bouts taking place were N Nowik (Crewe) v B O’Keefe (Salopian) and K Swift (Larches and Savick) v J Zelazko (South Cheshire).
