A WEDDING album from Northwich has come to light at a jumble sale in North Wales.
The album, which contains 12 postcard-sized photographs, was found in Pwllheli and now the original owners and their family are being traced. Emyr Davies contacted the Guardian to see if any of our readers can help.
He said: “This was found by a lady from Merseyside among jumble. She would like to trace a relative of the couple, who would like to have this album.
“The wedding is that of a Peter Jones and Christine Marriott, and took place at St Wilfrids, in the registration district of Northwich on January 2, 1960.
“Bridesmaids were Pauline Jones and Elizabeth Inglesfield, and best man was Ian Parrington.
“There was a Redcoat called A Marriott at Butlins Holiday Camp, near Pwllheli, in 1958 and 1959. I was wondering if there was a connection.” Email emyr.davies123@btinternet.com.
