THIS Remember When picture special transports us back to summers of the 1950s.
The photographs show a selection of fetes held in Whalley Road, in Northwich, during the decade that also celebrated the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
They were sent in by readers John and Joy Hitchenson after they had a visit from friend Diane Tonge, neé Brown, who brought a disc of images from the events.
They follow on from a previous Remember When photograph brought in by Wincham man Toddy Barlow, which showed children in fancy dress enjoying a coronation party in Whalley Road in 1952.
l Do you know any of the children in these pictures?
