As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Audrey Noden

The 92-year-old, of Winsford, died peacefully in hospital on November 2.

Audrey was the beloved wife of the late Alan and dearly loved mum of Lesley-Ann.

Funeral service to be held at Crewe Crematorium on Tuesday, November 28, at 1pm.

Doris Woodward (née Robinson)

The 90-year-old, of Woodford Lane West, Winsford, died in Daneside Court, Northwich, on November 4.

Doris  was the devoted wife of the late Noel, mum to Jane and Ian, and loving nan to Andrew and Helen.

Funeral service to be held at St Peters, Little Budworth Thursday, November 30, at 11.30am. Family flowers only.

Margaret Newton

The family of the late Margaret Newton would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy following their recent loss.

Grateful thanks to Adada Care Services for taking great care of Margaret. Many thanks to Oakwood Medical Centre, occupational health, district nurses and Margaret's social worker.

George Bannister

The 94-year-old, of Wincham and formerly Lostock Gralam, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 7.

George was the devoted husband of the late Ivy, much-loved dad and father-in-law of Michael and Lisa, and adored grandad of Ashley and Alex.

Funeral service at Vale Royal Crematorium on Friday, November 24, at 11am.

John Cross

The 100-year-old, of Moulton, died peacefully at Redwalls Nursing Home on November 1.

John was the devoted husband of the late Edith, adored father and father-in-law of Kathryn and Alan, much-loved grandad of Angela and Nigel and great-grandad of Edward and Henry.

He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Funeral service to be held at St John`s Church, Sandiway, on Tuesday, November 28, at 11am, and laid to rest at St Wilfrid`s Church, Davenham.

Derek 'Del Boy' Boyle

After a final day spent with all his family, Derek, of Cuddington and Sandiway, died peacefully on November 5 at St Luke's Hospice.

The 77-year-old was the beloved husband of the late Jean, dear father of Tina and Emma, a devoted 'grand' and great-grandad.

Funeral service will be held at Vale Royal Crematorium on Friday, December 1, at 1pm. Please wear bright colours.

Jane Angela Spencer (née Mikiel)

The former pupil of Weaverham County Secondary Modern School died at the Santa Barbara Hospice, California, after a short illness.

Jane will be missed by her daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, sister, nephew and friends.

You have left a hole that nothing else can fill, you will be truly missed but always loved. Forever in our hearts.

Peter Cox

The 79-year-old, died at Daneside Court Nursing Home on Friday, October 27.

Peter was the much loved husband of Jan, father to Mike and Hayley, father-in-law to Carmine and grandfather to Joseph. 

He was a long-time teacher at The Grange Junior School and keen bowler at Acton Bridge.

A private family service was held on November 8 at Vale Royal Crematorium.

Eileen Warburton

The 97-year-old, of Winsford, died peacefully at Overdene House Care Centre on November 5.

Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Jack, dearest mum of Alan and Barbara, and a much-loved `little gran` and great-gran.

Funeral service and interment to be held at United Reformed Church, Over, on Wednesday, November 22, at 11am.

Mark Colley-Davies

The 60-year-old, formerly of Barnton, died peacefully on November 2 after a brief illness.

Mark was the beloved husband of Heather, much-loved dad of Lucy and Amy, father-in-law to James and Christopher, Pop to Charlie and Ruby, son, brother and a friend to many.

He will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

Meryl Hargreaves (nèe Hough)

The 89-year-old died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 18.

Meryl was the beloved wife of the late Herb, much-loved mum to Elizabeth and Julie, loving grandma to Matthew, Daniel, Rachel and Millie and dearly loved great-grandma to Harry.

Meryl's funeral is to be held on Friday, December 1, at Walton Lea Crematorium at 10am and will be followed by a service of thanksgiving for her life at St Michael and All Angel's Church, Little Leigh, at 11.30am.

Barbara Mitchell

The 90-year-old, formerly of Hartford, died peacefully at Davenham Hall Nursing Home.

Barbara was the wife of the late Mike, much-loved mum of Cath and Sue and nana to Mick.
