POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man helping an unconscious man was punched.
A man in his 20s was helping another man who was unconscious when he was punched by a third man in West Street, Harwich.
The incident happened at about 1.30am on Sunday, November 17.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "A man in his 20s was helping another man also in his 20s who was unconscious when he was punched by a third man described as 6ft 2in tall, olive skin and was wearing a white t-shirt, blue skinny jeans, black trainers and a black coat.
"We would ask if you were in the area the time and witnessed the incident or have CCTV of the area to please call Clacton CID on 101 quoting crime reference number 42/182547/19."
