WILLOW Wood Primary School children were among thousands who took part in an awe inspiring singing event in Manchester.
Young Voices at the Phones 4 U arena in Manchester saw 8,000 kids perform a number of popular songs in unison, alongside former X Factor contestant, Stacey Solomon.
“It was absolutely awesome. We had a brilliant time and the children really enjoyed it,” said Willow Wood music teacher, Mari Hulse.
It’s the third year that the school has taken part in the annual event.
This year saw 30 students from the school choir perform medleys including tunes such as Rain Drops Keep Fallin’ on My Head and The Beatles’ Here Comes the Sun.
The Friends of Willow Wood presented music teachers Mari Hulse and Kelly Clarke, deputy head Rachel Tainsh and school bursar Julie Aston with a bouquet to thank them for organising the day out.
