STUDENTS from a Hartford school have been working hard to provide food parcels for the needy and homeless this Christmas.
Year eight pupils at Hartford Church of England High School enjoyed a talk from three local Christian communities, sharing information concerning initiatives to support needs of those less fortunate than others in our locality.
Pupils collected tinned and dried goods to support the Salvation Army based in the town centre.
“We are extremely pleased with the donations received from our pupils,” said a Hartford CoE spokesperson. “We are proud to continue supporting our community and aim to make a positive impact on the area we live in.”
