A NEW independent travel agent has opened its doors in Northwich HD Travel has been opened up by Kay Butt and Emma Savage, who are both local and have more than 35 years of experience in the travel industry.
“We have both worked with the Co-op Travel in Northwich for many years and have worked together as job share managers for the past 10 years,” Kay said.
“When our previous employers announced redundancies the first port of call was panic but then a plan was in place for us to find something to do that we both loved and that’s travel.
“It has been a new and exciting experience for us getting keys to the premises and then turn it in to a travel agency.
“We are proud that we have sourced everything locally and have also used local tradesmen and suppliers in Northwich to get the business running.”
HD Travel is based on Apple Market Street, near the bus terminus and the Indoor Market.
