ST LUKE’S Hospice is appealing for more customers to visit its interiors warehouse in Winsford.
The hospice already has an interiors shop on Delamere Street which stocks items such as sofas, bureaus, crockery and more.
But now a new clearance warehouse has opened in Queens Court, and hospice fundraisers are urgently appealing for customers to take a look inside.
Carol Heath, volunteer, said: “We take things like sofas, tables, chairs side boards and book cases.
“We’ve always had the warehouse, it’s just in the past we used it as storage - mainly because of a lack of volunteers to run it.”
The warehouse is open every Thursday and Friday between 10am and 2.30pm and on the last Saturday of every month.
Anybody wanting to donate an item of furniture should call staff at the interiors shop on Delamere Street who will then decide if the item is suitable before arranging its pick up.
