HAVE your say when Winsford Community Forum next meets on Wednesday, November 25.

Representatives of Cheshire West and Chester Council will be available at the Dingle Centre in High Street from 6.30pm to hear your views on what the council’s priorities should be over the coming years.

Opinions are being sought on three key documents – the Local Development Framework (which will form the basis for planning policy), Sustainable Communities Strategy (which sets out social, economic and environmental priorities) and the Local Transport Plan (which focuses on transport priorities).

A presentation will be given by Area Highways manager, Richard Flood, on road maintenance and the legal duties of the highways department and the challenges it faces.

The forum also provides an opportunity for residents, community groups and the town council to meet with their elected members and raise issues of concern within the local area.

Acting forum chairman Clr Charlie Parkinson said: “There is a packed agenda for the forum and this is an excellent opportunity for local people to get involved in shaping the key strategies of Cheshire West and Chester Council in forthcoming years.

“Progress has been made in Winsford Community Forum with excellent support at recent meetings and I would urge local people to continue to support the forum and provide their views on local concerns.”
