STAFF and former pupils gathered to celebrate a successful year at the County High School Leftwich.
The school’s annual presentation evening, formerly marking the students’ GCSE success in the summer, was held at the school on Thursday.
Guest of honour was John Herbert, operations director at Reflectmedia Limited, a company that supports media developments at The County High School, which specialises in media arts.
Mr Herbert praised the students’ high academic achievement, which saw 72 per cent of pupils gain five or more A* to C grades with 60 per cent of pupils achieving those top grades in English and mathematics His address on the night also acknowledged the necessity of teamwork alongside individual success.
