A CHESHIRE pub has reassured customers that it remains open as usual after being placed on the market by Marston’s.

The Tigers Head, on Pytchleys Hollow in Norley, is among a number of pubs across the country that Marston’s has put up for sale.

However, the pub has stressed that the move has not affected its day-to-day operation and customers can continue to visit as normal.

In a statement on Facebook, the pub said: "Many of you will know that Marston's has put the Tigers Head on the open market along with a number of other pubs across the country.

"This has not affected the day-to-day running of the pub, nor will it for the foreseeable future.

"I just wanted to reassure all our customers that we are still open for business as usual, and all our events are all still going ahead.

"It's a beautiful pub, and I hope you will continue to support it and long may it reign."

Marston's have been contacted for comment.
