A WINSFORD photographer is celebrating after scooping a major accolade at the British Photography Awards.
Stacey Jones was crowned the winner of the People’s Choice Award for Wedding Photography at the glittering ceremony in London.
Stacey, who has been taking photographs since she was a teenager, took the leap into the world of professional photography at the end of 2022.
Writing in a post on Facebook, she said: “What an absolutely amazing experience last night was!
“Thank you to everyone who shared such lovely words with me throughout the evening.
“Every individual conversation meant so much, and some of your kind words genuinely brought me close to tears.”
Stacey also thanked everyone who voted for her and supported her photograph.
“I’ve met some truly loving and inspiring people, made some wonderful connections, and experienced something I’ll never forget,” she added.
“Still pinching myself – What a moment!”
