FIREFIGHTERS were in attendance after reports of a smoking recycling lorry in Middlewich.
The emergency services were on Whitemore Road on the morning of Tuesday, September 15.
A fire service spokesperson said there were reports of a smoking recycling lorry before 10am.
The emergency services used a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the incident.
In attendance were one rescue unit and three fire engines from Middlewich Fire Station, Sandbach Fire Station and Winsford Fire Station.
It is thought the recycling lorry was taken back to the depot on what was green bin and grey bin collection day for this part of Cheshire East.
