FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a residential street in Winsford after reports of a blaze affecting three vehicles.
At around 8.40pm yesterday, Thursday, firefighters were called to Gladstone Street.
This was following reports that multiple vehicles were ‘well alight’.
On arrival, crews found that two cars and a van had been affected by the fire.
The road was closed while the incident was ongoing.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fires, which are believed to have been started accidentally.
The incident was then handed over to the vehicle owners and the road was reopened.
