A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a convicted drug dealer from Moulton who was previously spared jail by a judge.

Charlie Moore, of Main Road, was handed a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years, on Thursday, April 23, after pleading guilty to four offences in January.

Moore’s fingerprints had been found on a 1.2kg package of cannabis found by police in a car which officers stopped on August 8, 2024, belonging to his accomplice, James Dowd.

A forensic analysis of this phone also showed several drugs related messages.

The 21-year-old admitted one count each of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and cannabis resin, one of possession with intent to supply cannabis, and one being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

The offences occurred between September and December 2024, though he claimed he was only working for drug dealers to clear debts he owed to them.

Moore was due to attend Chester Crown Court again on Monday, August 24, to answer a further charge of breaching the suspended sentence order made on April 23, but he did not turn up.

The recorder, Anthony O’Donohoe, issued a warrant for his arrest.

Along with the suspended sentence, Moore was ordered to complete 80 hours unpaid work, along with up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

His mobile phone, drugs, and associated paraphernalia were also ordered to be destroyed.
