THE M6 is currently closed due to a truck fire.

As of 7.55am today, Friday, emergency services are at the scene between Junction 18, Middlewich, and Junction 19, Knutsford.

The fire is on the northbound carriageway, which is currently closed.

There are ‘severe delays’ as a result, according to online traffic logs.
