Five fire engines from Frodsham, Runcorn and Widnes travelled to a farm on Hillfoot Lane, near Kingsley, at 7.45am today, Monday, to reports of a fire inside a building where hay bales were being stored.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to tackle and damp down the fire.
