Family-run pottery painting studio opens its doors near Northwich

Woodland Creative, based at 1b Langdale Way in Frodsham, has opened its doors thanks to husband and wife team Katie Birchall and Simon Birchall.

The owners said: "We opened the studio to create a welcoming, relaxed space where people of all ages can take some time out from busy everyday life and enjoy being creative."

Visitors can choose from a wide range of pottery pieces including mugs, plates, bowls, vases, money boxes and seasonal items, before painting them in the studio or taking them home as part of the takeaway pottery painting kits.

Once completed, pieces are glazed and fired before being collected.

Katie said: "We have seating for up to 22 people and offer a cosy atmosphere with hot drinks and cakes available, making it a popular place for friends, families, grandparents and children to spend quality time together.

"We also host birthday parties, evening events, Paint & Sip sessions and themed workshops throughout the year."

Simon added: "One of the things our customers often tell us is how relaxing the experience is.

"In a world where so much time is spent on screens, it gives people the opportunity to slow down, chat and spend time doing.

"As a small independent business, we are passionate about bringing creativity to the local community and providing an affordable activity that can be enjoyed by all ages, whether visiting during the school holidays, celebrating a special occasion or simply popping in for a coffee and a couple of hours of pottery painting."

The studio is open Thursday to Sunday, with additional opening days during school holidays.
