A PRIMARY school has celebrated 180 years of education and community life.
Kingsley St John’s CofE Primary School marked the anniversary with a community event, welcoming around 300 guests, including former and current pupils, staff, families, and friends.
Visitors explored a children’s gallery titled KSJ Through the Ages, featuring photographs, memories and creative work reflecting the school’s long history.
Rachel Jones, headteacher at Kingsley St John’s, said: "I feel very humble, proud and privileged after such a wonderful day.
"Every visitor – thank you so much for giving us your time.
"It means so very much."
The celebration also provided an opportunity for old friends to reconnect and share stories about the school's impact on the village.
Kingsley St John’s has recently joined the Chester Diocesan Academies Trust, a move that strengthens its foundations and supports its continued growth.
The school is looking forward to the next 180 years.
