DOG trainers have completed a sunrise hike for charity.

The Canine Consultant, a Northwich-based dog training and walking business, took on the 'tough' challenge of climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) to raise funds for Cure Parkinson’s.

The team began their journey at 1am on June 14, walking in darkness to reach the summit by sunrise.

Josh Wilkinson, founder of The Canine Consultant, said: "It was incredibly tough, but we all pushed through with grit.

"Navigating the start of the walk in darkness was a real challenge with the conditions and terrain for the whole team.

"Reaching the summit to watch the sunrise made every step worthwhile, especially knowing we were raising money for such an important cause."

The walkers taking part in the climb included Josh, Sophie Screeton, Cali Hutchins, Nicola Tonge, Justyna Andrejanczyk, Daisy Southern, and Jess Slater, along with dogs Bailey and Minnie.

Together, they raised £1,200 for Cure Parkinson’s, a charity that holds personal significance for members of the team.

The fundraising challenge is part of The Canine Consultant’s broader commitment to supporting charitable causes throughout 2026.

Their success was also shared by their canine companions, who joined the team on the ascent.
