DRIVERS are being warned of an upcoming 10-day road closure and diversion route near the centre of Cuddington.

Norley Road is set to close at the request of Manweb as the utility firm gets ready to begin underground electricity works beneath the carriageway on Monday, July 6.

The works themselves will be outside number 141, just to the west of the centre of the village, but this means no through route will be available for vehicles.

A diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure via Norley Road, Cuddington Lane, Stoneyford Lane, Chester Road, Forest Road, and Norley Lane.

Access will be maintained for residents, businesses, emergency services, and agricultural vehicles.
