FOREST Live is well underway in Cheshire as Wednesday night saw the band celebrate two decades.
And we were there to witness a rocking return for the Brighton-based band as the Forest Live kicked off in style.
Lots of football shirts being worn ahead of the England match and the Kooks had Sweet Caroline playing before they took to the stage.
Our reviewer was hand to tell the tale of a good night had…
“Last night saw Delamere Forest host The Kooks, who are celebrating 20 years together.
“The Kooks, originally from Brighton and formed in 2004 took to the stage playing a selection of their much-loved songs to a packed-out crowd of all ages.
“There was nothing but good vibes, bringing fans both old and new together to sing and dance in the surroundings of the beautiful forest.
“The event was incredibly organised; staff were even handing out water to those brave enough to make their way to the front of the stage to dance the night away.
“The support acts, DJ Ian Davies, Girl in the Year Above and Circa Waves did a great job of warming up the crowd and the atmosphere was full of joy from start to finish.
“Delamere Forest is the perfect venue for such events providing a picturesque backdrop.”
