THE Kooks, Garbage, and Du Blonde were among the artists performing at Delamere Forest this week.

The popular annual Forest Live outdoor concerts kicked off on Wednesday, with music lovers travelling to Mid Cheshire from all over the country.

Girl In The Year Above got things underway on day one, and were followed by Circa Waves and The Kooks, known for songs such as She Moves In Her Own Way and Naive.

Lots of football shirts were being worn ahead of England's first World Cup match and The Kooks even had Sweet Caroline playing before they took to the stage.

Day two featured Du Blonde, Skunk Anansie, and Garbage, whose back catalogue includes songs such as Stupid Girl and James Bond theme The World Is Not Enough.

During their set, Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson stopped to help get a young fan some ear plugs to protect her hearing.
