EDITOR'S NOTE: Thomas Arcus has subsequently been found not guilty on both charges of exposure he faced. The jury reached a swift acquittal verdict on day four of his trial.
A MOULTON man showed his penis to the same schoolgirls twice in two days, a court has heard.
Thomas Arcus is on trial over almost identical alleged incidents at his home address on Main Road.
Chester Crown Court heard how he showed his penis to the girls, who were all in uniform, on the mornings of Tuesday, October 15, and Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
A jury of four men and eight women heard how on both occasions the teenagers were on their way to a bus stop when they spotted him stood at a downstairs window 'completely naked'.
Opening the trial on Monday, June 8, the prosecutor Brett Williamson said: "[The prosecution] say he was doing so deliberately to cause them alarm and distress."
According to Mr Williamson the alleged victims spoke to parents, to police, and to the safeguarding lead at their secondary school in Northwich.
In a video interview, one of the alleged victims said she spotted a man in his late 30s or his early 40s with a bald head, a beard, and an erection.
The young girl said it seemed as though the defendant was on his mobile phone on both days.
She said he did not seem to see them the first day but he did seem to see them the second day.
The young girl said: "I was uncomfortable and I did not know what to do."
Arcus, 42, pleaded not guilty to two counts of exposure at a plea and trial preparation hearing last year.
The trial is ongoing before Recorder Anthony O'Donohoe and it is likely to last for approximately two to three days.
