THE Red Arrows are set to fly low over Cheshire the week.
The Royal Air Force Acrobatic Team will be taking to the skies above the county on their journey between their home base, RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, and RAF Valley on Anglesey on Thursday, June 4.
The 205-mile journey takes these elite flying aces just under 30 minutes.
Their ultimate destination is the Isle of Man, where they are taking part in the island’s world-famous TT motorbike racing festival on Thursday evening.
On the Thursday, residents can expect to catch a glimpse of the team in the skies over Cheshire between 3.40pm and 3.45pm.
Their actual route takes them just to the south of Winsford and Middlewich, right over the village of Church Minshull.

For those unfortunate enough to miss them on Thursday, there is great news.
They will be returning by the same route on Friday, June 5, passing over Mid Cheshire between 11.45am and 11.55am.
They are expected to be flying at somewhere between 250 and 2,000 feet, which is low enough to get a pretty good view, though their transit height is dependant on weather conditions.
Timings are also subject to change depending on the forecast.
