A NORTHWICH choir is to return to the Grange Theatre for a great cause this month.

Northwich Musical Theatre Choir will be bringing an uplifting and unforgettable evening with songs from Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and many more on Saturday, June 20.

All profits from the event will go directly to the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC).

Catherine Ogden is the choir leader and boasts a wealth of experience with a degree in musical theatre and a masters in voice pedagogy.

She said: “We are delighted that this concert is raising funds for RASASC, a cause that is deeply important to our choir members.

“This is our first concert at the Grange Theatre in two years, and we are absolutely thrilled to be sharing this special evening with our audience once again.”

Catherine started the choir as a space to sing for joy, connection and confidence.

At the choir, members ‘leave the to-do lists and negativity at the door’ as they find joy through singing, lifting each other up, and building a strong community where everyone feels welcome.

The upcoming performance will celebrate the power of music, storytelling and community.

The show starts at 7.30pm with a raffle and auction prizes up for grabs too.

Audience members will be able to bid for a family ski holiday in Bulgaria as well as being able to win a two course meal at the Hayhurst Arms, a dance lesson, a singing lesson and many more prizes.

Whether you are a life-long musical theatre fan or simply looking for a feel-good night out, this will be an evening filled with heart, harmony, and hope.
