FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a kitchen fire in Rudheath.
One crew from Northwich fire station was called to West Avenue to reports of a house fire at 12.18pm on Thursday, May 28.
On arrival, they found a fire in the kitchen which started in a grill pan, which they tackled with a hose jet reel before taking the pan outside.
Residents inside at the time of the fire were all accounted for.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a report of a house fire in West Avenue, Northwich.
“On arrival, crews found a small fire in the kitchen involving a grill pan.
“One hose reel was used to put the fire out before firefighters removed the affected appliance.
“All occupiers of the property were accounted for."
