BRIO Winsford is set to get an exciting gym upgrade next month designed to improve customer experience and inspire residents to get moving.
The leisure centre opened in 2013 and has remained a popular destination for fitness, wellbeing, and community activities in the town.
While cosmetic improvements have been made to the gym over the years, this marks the first major equipment and facility upgrade.
Planned improvements include brand new state-of-the-art gym equipment throughout, upgraded flooring and décor, and a new sound system.
There will also be additional weight stations, and improved technology and connectivity on selected equipment.
The 3D render image has been created to give customers a preview of the refreshed space.
The main gym will temporarily close from Monday, June 8, while refurbishment work takes place, with reopening planned for Monday, June 22.

All other areas of the centre will remain fully open, including the accompanying gym space, The Box, though bookable sessions may be introduced to help manage capacity.
Brio managing director, Matt Parker, said: “We’re proud to continue investing in our facilities to ensure they remain modern, accessible, and welcoming for all.
“The gym upgrade will provide customers with an improved workout environment and help us continue enabling happier, healthier loves through movement and experiences.”
