YOUNG performers are set to bring their latest production based on 'The Addams Family' to the Northwich stage.
At the end of the month, Together For Theatre Young Performers (TFTYP) will be performing 'The Addams Family: Young@Part' at The Harlequin Theatre in Queen Street.
Based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams, the production follows the story of The Addams Family daughter Wednesday as she falls in love with 'normal' boy Lucas Beineke.
Chaos, comedy, and heartfelt moments are promised as Wednesday introduces Lucas to her unconventional relatives and the two, very different, families come together.
Director Ben Evans-Clarke, the TFTYP chairman, said: “It’s been an absolute joy to work with such a talented and committed group of young performers.
"This show celebrates individuality and embracing what makes us unique, and our cast have truly brought that message to life.”
The productions boasts a talented cast of young performers, with musical direction from Anise Lea, the TFTYP vice-chairman, and choreography by Becky Brady.
Anise added: “The score is full of energy, humour, and some really beautiful moments.
"It’s been fantastic to see the cast grow in confidence and develop their sound as an ensemble throughout the rehearsal process.”
Together For Theatre Young Performers is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality performing arts opportunities for young people, fostering confidence, teamwork, and artistic growth.
Ben added: "This production is a testament to the group’s ongoing commitment to nurturing emerging talent while producing theatre of an exceptional standard."
The show's run starts on Wednesday, April 29, and runs each evening at 7.30pm until Saturday, May 2. There will also be a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
Tickets are £15, with concessions at £12. A family ticket is £50 and all are available to buy at togetherfortheatre.co.uk/tickets.
