A MAN who stole two phones and tried to fraudulently order an Apple computer and a smart device will be sentenced next month.
Adam O’Conner, of Keepers Lane in Weaverham, pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud and one charge of theft dating back to June 25 and 26, last year.
The 20-year-old admitted the three offences at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, April 9.
The court heard he used internet accounts belonging to someone else to try to order the computer and phone, as well as stealing two devices from the same person.
A pre-sentence report was ordered by Judge Patrick Thompson and O’Conner will return to Chester Crown Court on Friday, May 22.
He was given conditional bail.
Judge Thompson added: “You’ve entered sensible guilty pleas which will be to your credit.
“My bailing of you is no indication of the sentence you will receive.”
