THIS week, February 21 – March 1, is Real Bread Week, which celebrates additive-free bread.
Created and run by the Real Bread Campaign since 2010, the aim is to encourage people to buy baked goods from their local, independent bakeries or bake their own at home.
Here are some of the best places in Cheshire to pick up a fresh loaf.

"They are premium-priced but worth it for their excellent flavour and freshness.
"The bread slicer in this bakery is very good too, slicing the Artisan loaves into perfectly formed thin slices."

Their website states that they have been "part of the local community for four generations."
