Mel Levy appeared on ITV’s The Chase on Thursday, taking on Mark Labbett, nicknamed 'the beast'.
The 44-year-old is a fitness instructor at Knutsford Leisure Centre.
The inspirational singer also works with several choirs including Holmes Chapel Singers and Meltones Ladies Choir in Hartford.
Introducing herself on the show, she said: “I run a couple of choirs, performing classical music such as Mozart’s Requiem and Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast and a ladies choir, all pop and musicals.”
Among several other jobs, she said, she is also a cheese tour guide.

When asked by host Bradley Walsh what was her favourite cheese, she said: “The stronger and stinkier the better.”
Mel described her two lurcher dogs, Charlie and Ned, as ‘really ugly boys’.
If she won some money, she said she would ‘get them diamond encrusted pink collars as a bit of bling’ to treat them.
In her cash builder, Mel secured £2,000.
At the table, Mark tried to entice her to gamble with a top offer of £70,000 but, instead, she opted for the lower sum of £1,000.
She managed to keep her money and return to her team of three, after getting only one question wrong.
When asked how many players were on the pitch at once during a normal game of cricket, Mel said 15, when the correct answer was 13.
Asked how people in Germany celebrate Walpurgis Night, she replied ‘playing pranks’ and was surprised to be right.

In a question about the game of Monopoly, she beat the chaser when asked what space was most landed in the board game.
She chose the correct answer, jail, whereas Mark opted for Vine Street and got it wrong.
Her team of three challengers, who secured a prize pot of £15,000, put up a good fight in the final challenge with a score of 18.
Chaser Mark praised their effort and said: “You got every question in the first minute right.
“This is bang in the fun zone now, all about push backs.”
Unfortunately, the trio failed to catch him and left empty-handed.
