A PUB'S dedication to quality has earned it a place in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2026.
The Antrobus Arms has been recognised for its commitment to real ale and has been selected for the guide following a renewed focus on quality and variety after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Alice Keeling, cellarwoman at the pub, said: "It really has been a labour of love.
"After Covid we made the decision to up our game with real ale.
"We made quality and variety our non-negotiables, we refused to ever serve a ‘below-par’ pint.
"On occasions we would throw beer away to not compromise on our standards."

The pub has steadily expanded its real ale offering.
Alice added: "We started with just two ales on the bar, we now have four, all of which are small, local brewers who share our values of passion and pride in quality.
"I feel it is my responsibility to show respect to those beer makers and commit to serving their beers in the best possible condition."

"As a destination dining style pub, that is in a somewhat remote location, to be selling this variety and quantity of real ale is rare.
"It is a testament to Alice and her relentless pursuit of beer excellence.
"We have huge aspirations for this historic pub; it is our aim to make the pub standout in Cheshire as a beacon of excellence for being hospitable and representing our county for everything it has to offer."
The Antrobus Arms is no stranger to acclaim, having previously been named a finalist at the Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards and recognised as a Best Newcomer by Taste Cheshire.
The pub is known for its steak and Weetwood ale pie and popular Sunday lunches.
