BLACK and white images are striking.
There's something about a mono photograph that captures attention and makes you look a little closer at the detail.
Members of Guardian Camera Club have shared their favourite black and white images.
The Camera Club is a supportive and friendly group of amateur and professional photographers and as well as submitting photos taken recently, members also take part in regular themed challenges like summer sunsets, pairs and extreme weather.
