A pensioner has been put on the sex offenders register after being caught 'touching himself' while wearing a pink nightie.

Robert Williams, of Weaver Road, Moulton, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court for the second time for sentencing on Friday, February 7.

Previously, on January 10, at the same court, the 70-year-old admitted one count of exposure for performing a sex act outside a property while wearing a pink nightie on October 5 last year.

Prosecuting, Neve Flynn said he was seen through the peephole of a property by a victim who was waiting for a visitor.

At the previous hearing, Ms Flynn said: "He was touching himself in a sexually self-gratifying manner."

On Friday, Williams received a community order for 18 months and has been on the sex offenders register for five years.

Williams received a fine of £60 to be paid in addition to court costs of £200 and to be paid in monthly instalments of £20.
