THREE teenagers are set to appear at court accused of committing a burglary while armed with a machete.
Luke Faulkner-Ellis, aged 19, 18-year-old Harvey Smallwood, and a 17-year-old girl - who cannot be named for legal reasons - are due at Warrington Magistrates Court today, Thursday.
The trio each face a charge of aggravated burglary relating to an incident reported t have taken place in Naylor Court, Northwich, on April 15 last year.
Allegedly the three teenagers entered a dwelling as trespassers with a machete and attempted to inflict grievous bodily harm on a person inside.
Due to the seriousness of the alleged offence, the case will be sent to be heard in crown court, following the conclusion of today's hearing.
The 17-year-old girl is a Northwich resident, while the addresses for Faulkner-Ellis and Smallwood are in London Road, Sandbach, and in Tarvin, respectively.
