A CASUALTY has been taken to hospital following a house fire in Northwich.
Three fire crews were dispatched from Winsford, Middlewich and Lymm at around 2.21pm yesterday, Thursday, to the scene.
The crews arrived at Peter Street to find a fire in the living room of a property.
A CFS spokesperson said the fire was extinguished on arrival and a 'high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke'.
An ambulance attended the incident and one casualty was taken to hospital by paramedics for further medical assistance.
