TWO people were injured after a car crashed into a hedge and overturned.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to rescue one casualty trapped inside the vehicle.
Police were called to Booth Bed Lane in Allostock at 3.20pm on Tuesday after a black Jaguar ended up on its side.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 3.20pm following reports of a single-vehicle collision in Booth Bed Lane, near the junction with Brick Bank Lane.
"The car involved, a black Jaguar, appears to have collided with a hedge and ended up on its side.
"A closure has been put in place while the incident is dealt with.
"Two people were in the car, a male driver and a female passenger, and they are believed to have sustained minor injuries.”
"The ambulance service is in attendance and is checking over the occupants at the scene."
The road remains closed in both directions whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
Two fire engines from Knutsford and Holmes Chapel are at the scene.
