A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a lorry in a late-night crash.
A 31-year-old man from Northwich died following a crash on the A556 in Lostock Gralam.
Shortly before on Tuesday (June 18), a lorry travelling towards the M6 collided with the man, who died at the scene.
Cheshire Police are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
A spokesperson said: “At 12.56am on Tuesday a lorry was in collision with a pedestrian as it was travelling toward the M6.
“The pedestrian, a 31-year-old man from Northwich, sadly died at the scene.
“Officers investigating the collision are urging anyone with information or dash cam footage that may help them establish the circumstances to contact them on 101 or via www.cheshire.police.uk//tell-us quoting IML 1849884.”
