A TRACTOR driver was taken to hospital after the trailer it was pulling overturned.
Police were called to the scene on the A530 Nantwich Road in Middlewich at around 10.17am yesterday (June 16).
Officers attended to deal with the incident, with passersby reporting the road was closed for several hours as a result.
A man, the driver of the tractor, was taken to Leighton Hospital to be checked over.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: "At 10.17am police were called to an overturned trailer on the A530 Nantwich Road, Middlewich.
"The driver of the tractor was taken to Leighton to be assessed.
"The tractor and trailer were recovered from the road."
