A SALON for dogs had some very special visitors.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire paid a visit to The Dog Retreat Spa in Northwich.
Lystra Adams, Ellie Egar and Ampika Pickston popped in with pups Louis, a Bichon Frise, and Billy the French Bulldog.
Owner, Kimberley Massey, was over the moon to see her business feature in the latest series of the hit show.
She said: “We got a phone call out of the blue from the Real Housewives team asking about our doggy spa treatments, they were really impressed with the range of dog treatments we offer so wanted to book a couple of their dogs in.
“We were super excited to be chosen, and it was definitely not another ordinary day at the salon.
“We were super nervous, we didn’t know what it would look like. It’s so embarrassing seeing yourself on TV, but it was a good experience.
“We’ve had such lovely feedback and a lot of locals were happy to see their town get some air time too!”

Kimberley has been working as a dog groomer for more than 10 years now.
August will mark four years since she opened The Dog Retreat Spa off Venables Road, which she runs alongside her wife, Hannah.
During the Housewives’ visit, Louis was treated to a coat detox treatment, whitening and brightening shampoo, a blueberry facial and a ‘pawdicure’.
Meanwhile, Billy enjoyed a de-shedding mud bath, a marshmallow facial and a pawdicure of his own.

On what it was like to meet the TV stars and their dogs, Kimberley said: “They were all really nice and surprisingly chatty! We talked a lot about dogs as you can imagine.
“The dogs had never met each other before, when they first saw each other outside there were a few grumbles, so we were hoping they’d be OK next to each other on the tables.
“They were absolutely fine and so well-behaved too!”
