TRAPPED motorists were rescued from a two-car crash which saw a vehicle collide with a telegraph pole.
Police and fire crews attended the scene of a crash on Marbury Road in Northwich at around 5.35pm yesterday, Tuesday.
It was confirmed two cars, a grey Mercedes CLA 180 and a blue Porsche 91, were involved in a collision which saw 'persons' trapped inside one of the vehicles.
One of the vehicles also collided with a telegraph pole on Broadacre.
Cheshire Fire Service confirmed 'persons' were trapped in the vehicles involved and firefighters ensured the cars were made 'safe at the scene'.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "There were no reports of any injuries and no arrests were made, but the road was closed due to the fallen telegraph pole."
