AN internationally acclaimed musician is set to mesmerise audiences in Northwich when he pays a visit to the town this month.

Renowned Italian pianist Francesco Attesti will be giving a virtuoso performance at The Grange Theatre in Hartford for one night only on May 31.

Attesti began his musical journey at the tender age of just six, rising to become a luminary in the realm of classical piano.

And the 48-year-old will be giving a piano recital in the town hosted by, and in support of, Rotary in Northwich.

Nic Abbott, president at the Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal, was contacted by Attesti, who was looking for venues in the local area where he might perform.

Welcoming the opportunity to host the event, Nic said: "It was just one of those perfect moments.

"Once I had read a little more about Francesco I could see that there was the chance to make this happen.

"I know The Grange Theatre very well and they have excellent pianos on hand, so this looked like the perfect opportunity to create a unique event, and raise some valuable funds for our charity account.

"After a couple of emails to The Grange, and we soon had things underway."

A dedicated performer with innate talent, Attesti is a leading interpreter of the Romantic and early 20th century repertoire.

Combined with The Grange Theatre's acoustics and intimate ambiance, it promises to be a soul-stirring musical experience for those in attendance.

Nic added: "As the elegant notes of Chopin, Bach, and Rachmaninoff fill the air, attendees will be transported on a transcendent musical odyssey, experiencing the profound emotions and timeless beauty inherent in each piece.

"In addition to offering a night of unparalleled musical entertainment, this event also serves a greater purpose.

"Proceeds from ticket sales will support the charitable initiatives of Rotary in Northwich, enabling us to continue our invaluable work within the community."

Tickets for the recital, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced between £10 and £20 and are available online at
