POLICE have named a suspected drug dealer arrested during a raid.
Renny Hamer has been charged with possession with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
It follows a raid at an address on Denton Drive in Northwich on Friday morning (April 26), during which a 'large quantity' of cocaine was found.
Speaking about the raid, Detective Constable Claire Heatley said: “The impact of drugs is well known, and I hope this arrest provides reassurance to the community we are doing all we can to stop those believed to be involved in this behaviour.
“Intelligence supplied by members of the public is crucial to this fight and I urge anyone with any information about suspected drug-related activity in their community to get in touch.
“We will continue to tackle drug dealing in Northwich and elsewhere in Cheshire head on, utilising all the resources at our disposal."
The warrant, conducted at 7.45am on Friday, was part of an ongoing operation in relation to the supply of illegal drugs in the Northwich area.
During the raid, officers discovered class A drugs and other drug paraphernalia.
A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene and was later formally charged and identified as Hamer, of Denton Drive.
He has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs between November 30, 2023, and April 26, 2024.
Hamer has been remanded in police custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on May 28.
